H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey will participate in the 34th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) to be held in Sochi, Russia on 1 July 2016.

During the Meeting of the Council of Ministers to be hosted by H.E Mr. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, who holds the Chairmanship-in-Office of the BSEC, the issues of regional economic cooperation on BSEC’s agenda will be discussed.

In the process leading up to the 25th anniversary of the BSEC that will be celebrated during Turkey’s Chairmanship-in-Office in 2017, the ongoing work on institutional reform to provide a stronger and more dynamic structure to the Organization constitutes one of the main items of the agenda.

On the occasion of the 34th Meeting of the Council of Ministers, H.E Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu will have bilateral meetings with his Russian counterpart H.E Mr. Sergey Lavrov and other counterparts from the BSEC member states.
